Not all my work is done on metal based wares but occasionally I come across timber pieces that inspire me. This oval serving tray has a lovely hand carved, floral motif on each end & was just ‘begging’ to be given a work over.
The roses have been decoupaged onto the tray as were some of my earlier pieces. A solid & handsome looking tray with a touch of shabby elegance, it can still hold it’s own as decor item left on display…. and hard-wearing when used as a serving piece.
Once a discarded & sad-looking timber tray, now a revived Recreated Treasure.
