This Recreated vase/jug was the largest of a set of four that I found during one of my rounds of second-hand dealers & op shops. They weren’t being sold as a set but the dealer just happened to have four of them ranging from a cute small size to this impressive large one, which stands at approx. 29 cm tall (11 1/2″) & weighs 1.3 Kg.
Given a very soft looking finish in creams, mauves, greens & pale gold highlights, it’s now another piece that stands proudly for a new owner as a Recreated Treasure.

This is such a beautiful piece…reminds me so much of antiques I’ve seen from the Regency period. It feels like it should be on a table in a room in ‘Pride and Predjudice’!!! Such elegance should be in the shops today! (Haven’t seen this anywhere else in Metro Melbourne). Beautifully hand painted too!!!
